- Recommended surface treatment: Thermolacquered according to QUALICOAT standard. Anodization possible with definition, prior to execution, of minimum and maximum colour tolerance (light – dark) according to QUALANOD EURAS EWAA standard.
- Prohibited contact: Non protected steel or steel covered with a paint containing lead, copper, iron or mercury. During installation, any projection of mortar or cement as well as welding or grinding debris shall be avoided. Also, specific types of wood: oak, chestnut tree and wood treated with products containing metal brass oxides, copper, tin or lead.
- Drainage of surface water: As for all ventilated facades, some humidity is admitted in the ventilation air layer. The drainage is provided for by adequate machining of the U, L or T shaped aluminium joining profiles.
- Maintenance of Profil Design System: Maintenance mainly consists in washing the facades with soapy, non alkaline water. It is recommended to perform outside surface maintenance every second year. In the conception phase, the project manager will make sure to select a profile in the PDS range that facilitates maintenance in vertical or horizontal applications.
